list. 28 seniors and 27 juniors to be exact. No dance ticket will be
sold to anyone on the fine list. Seniors also remember your diploma, grades
& college transcripts will be held if you are on the fine list.
Talent Show on
Friday night. It starts at 6:30 and goes to 8:30. The cost is $3 with ASB
and $5 without.

re-scheduled to next Wednesday May 14th at 2:10 in the choir
room. Please see Lily in the counseling office to sign up in advance!

Sports Report:
Girls Water Polo completed their regular season last night with a 19-3
victory over Foss. The win pushed the Tides season record to 17-2. The team
will be going to the State Championships, which starts next week at Rogers
H.S. Leading all scorers in last night's game was Aundi Ragan with 4 goals.
KC Hughes and Michelle Hamilton each contributed 3 goals, while Danielle
Ellis added 2 more goals. Seven other Tides each scored once.
Congratulations! Girls Water Polo for your record setting season.

Congratulations to
Miles Unterreiner and Bree LeRoy, who each broke school records yesterday at
the first day of the Narrows League Championships. Miles ran the 3200m in
9:02.68 while Bree long jumped 18’10”. Bree also won the high jump. Alyssa
Andrews in the 3200m, Brendan Saltvick in the shot put and Matt Bright in
the long jump both had lifetime bests to finish second in their events.
The Tides track and field teams are both in first place after one day of
competition. Come out to support the team Friday at South Kitsap!

If you are planning on attending Junior Prom and don’t have a dance
contract on file it is due today. Bring it to Mrs. Taylor in the main
office.
The environmental club will be holding a
drawing on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for 1 month. Drop bottles with no
liquid in them in the recycling bins with your name written on them. We
will be giving away nice plastic and metal water bottles as a prize. Please
recycle. Thanks in advance from GHECO.
H2Whoa tryouts will be May 28th thru
the 30th in the main gym from 5:30-7:30. The team is open to
grades 9-12, guys and girls. Application packets are available in the main
office. Go H2Whoa!

News from the Career Center:
If you are interested in going to Summer School at West Sound Tech this
summer stop by the counseling office ASAP to pick up a registration form.
Registration is May 6th and 7th. You must go down
there to enroll.
There is a Running
Start Information meeting in the auditorium this Thursday at 2:10. If you
are planning on starting Running Start next fall this is a mandatory
meeting. Parents are also welcome.

Teacher Appreciation Week
Tomorrow, Tuesday, May 6th is an early release day for
senior paper reading. There will be NO TIDES class and school
will start at 7:30 and be dismissed at 10:20. All classes will be a little
less than an hour long. Again, NO TIDES on Tuesday, May 6.
Don’t forget!!!!! You must have your dance contracts in for Junior Prom by

Students: If you are parking off campus in a residential area,
please be respectful of the home owners. We have had reports of cars
parking on both sides of the road, some cars blocking mail boxes, trash left
by cars – The residents would GREATLY appreciate your understanding and help
with this. The best option is to park on campus so you don’t risk a ticket
